I know it has been a tough time for some of our friends here this past week. I hope things start to turn around for you all.
Cleaning and more cleaning around here. One 1/32 Carrera USAC project to try and finish this week. I have been dragging behind as usual.
H&R 1/25 projects are popping up. Getting that "old feeling" and time to start up the Dremel. Rob is to blame, so is HRWJim.
Might have a new review coming soon as well :)
Hope all have a great weekend, and hope those facing harder times can find some time to escape and play with some toys.

Our AGM tonight. We will be discussing the finances, budget and new rules & classes. I know that we will be concentrating more on the NSR GT3's, the Sideways Group 5's and the Classics, cars older than 1976. For the Classics, I am waiting for the new Scaly Escort Mk2 with the sidewinder, but for now I will carry on with an old Scaly Escort Mk1 and the NSR Porsche 917 or Ford P68.

Just got home from Minnesota last night.
May have to go car shopping...not the little ones. My faithful steed is starting to have some serious and expensive issues. We'll see how that turns out.
Running the T/A Proxy this weekend and hanging out with the family for a big Easter dinner on Sunday.

Layed some paint on the Carrera 427 Corvette. Still a bunch of projects going, but other things have taken priority. I had almost fogotten it was Easter weekend. I never have figured out how they determine what Sunday it will fall on. Never was a big holiday in our family, but I like those big meals. :)

After being put on the DL by a growth on my right shoulder that was taking away the use of my right arm and hand, I had a chance to spend some time at DeBary Glen doing what I am totally loving - racing slot cars.
Funny thing is that I don't think I got off of our "Palm Bay" (wooden track) and just had a blast running my Carrera and Monogram stockers. It was an absolute blast.
To add sweetness to the equation, by 12 year old grandson joined me and we just had some super fun!
It sure did feel super to be able to hold a controller in my right hand once again.

I ran the O2 Trans-Am Proxy class last night. WOW! What a blast! I drove the fastest SCX Cuda and Pioneer Mustang EVER. Holy crap these things smoked!
I'm putting together the write up and results today/tonight after Church and dinner with the family. Seriously, this was a blast though!

Aha! Its raining cats and dogs, so I can't work outside. I'm headed for the shop to do some more on the 4 at once project I posted about. If I don't mess up the painting, I could finish before I have to quit to start cooking.
Big Easter dinner happening here-- ham, potatoes, devilled eggs, beans, homemade bread, all kinds of desserts, WOOF!
