But the fact is some of these older models are just as much fun as anything new.
Bibbster started this one by bringing them with him to visit last year. Then he got a few more and we had a blast with them at his place. DixonJohn down the street also picked them up and we have killed quite a few hours with them.
Now I finally have my own thanks to Bibbs.
The Rules: Just leave them alone! He is VERY strict about this and he is right. They really do not need anything but some track time.
My car had one issue. One of the power straps was so warped I could not get it right. I had to trim them off and replace with wire.

Other than this, THE CAR IS BONE STOCK, tires and all. This mod didn't make it any faster, just so it would work. The tab was not making contact.

Mild motor that is perfect for our normal sized home tracks. They run well on the wood once you clean the tires.
So here we are messing around with older toys again and I for one am really enjoying it. You don't need a fat wallet to have fun and cars like this prove it.
Maybe some of you should look into a series using older models. But not these ok? I want more and don't need you guys taking them all.
Thanks Bibbster :)
