3/1/13 Bolton Raceway Park Chili Dog Challenge

A full night of fun events and pics from the inaugural Bolton Raceway Park Chili Dog Challenge.

This is the first race night I have had since finishing up building my track recently. We had a great evening of fun, food and friendship. Plenty of door to door fender rubbing racing throughout the evening and into the wee hours of the morning. Doors opened at 6:00 pm with the last competitor leaving around 1:30 AM Saturday morning.

The food to fuel up all the competitors. Thanks goes out to my lovely wife for putting out such a great spread of food. Home made Chili with all the fixin's for the named event along with beer brats and hot dogs for chili dogs, chips dips and brownies,lemon bars and cold beer and pop chillin' in the fridge!


The track: Bolton Raceway Park sponsered by Bolton's Speed Shop. A short track road course with plenty of twists and turns to keep you on your toes to get around.

That's the way we used to do it. I miss those days. Looks like great gathering. Makes me kinda want some chili dogs.

Hey! Did you ever try to make Chili-Cheese-Burger-Dogs like the ones described years ago on the Bill Cosby Show? We did, and they were amazingly great. Of course we could barely move for days afterward...

Yeah we raced for almost 8 hours straight last night!

Also in one of the pics I have posted, I have pics of the Cudas you posted on my fridge.

Everyone commented how they liked the one you are building into a dirt track car and they liked the blue cuda T/A car also on that guys site. I can't wait to see yours painted and finished!
