What a night. Had a box come in with some new Carrera I wanted to try. Curiosity really...just wanting to try something new. So, I have been messing with those and taking photos.

Then, over to the midget. Have the driver painted now and glued in place. Need windscreen and done. No front bumper yet...my design is not working out.

All the while I have a pair of USAC Carrera Mopars taken apart. Working on a set of them.

Can't forget the Cheetah in the works...when inserts are ready it goes back together. Had to try and build one to match ListerstormGT's...I'll never beat him, but fun to try.

AND a classic SCX F1 from Bibbster...Lister Storm from Mr. Goose, and finally the Revogram NASCAR I finished last night.

So many irons...can't even see the fire :o

Ever get that way around your workbench?

Multiple projects is the norm on my workbench. Up to four at any given time. It is very cluttered and my friends wonder how I keep track of things.

Projects? I don't have any voids there...it's the time to do them that is the problem.

had 12 cars on the bench, none getting done,so put 11 up and now one at a time they are getting finally done !

What on earth is the point of doing one thing at a time? Surely that would mean there's a chance of actually finishing something. That'd just be wrong.

Just taken delivery of a new power supply for the work bench. So, the Tire Razor is happily whirring away on catch up. Finally purchased a compressor for my airbrush. Whoohooo.... Time to get some paint flowing.

A whole weekend on my own. Time to spend some quality time with the toys.

What so I'm not the only one with to many projects. My biggest problem is I'm waiting on parts for most. None of these are built straight out of the box, so getting parts from here and there and lots of scratch made parts. So while I'm waiting why not start a new project. My projects on my bench are a pair of 70 javelins near done, pair of 70 AAR Cudas TAs, pair of super bird stockers, 1955 Plymouth & 55 Dodge street cars, 1951 Pharoahs Mercury from American Graffiti and lastly a 1929 Ford Roadster with 1932 grille, hood & chassis. I really should take a photo of this mess, it's quite a site. More on these cars later.

Do I have any projects?? :laughing-rolling: I have so many projects, that they have projects. I've at least 10-12 as I type. It just hard to find the time with all that's going on. I did manage to get the '67 Corvette in primer, a little more body work and then some paint, and the Plymouth is in primer now, it looks good so on to paint after it gases out (2-3 days) :)

I knew I wasnt the only one. Not only on the workbench but planned out for months in my head as I stroll through flea markets, etc. and pick up "potential" slot cars. I have some friends who are true artists, sculptors, etc. and they've seen my shop area, one of them called it my "studio", I got a kick out of that, and its true. I think we're all artists and this is just our specialty. So off the top o my head:

1/24 Corvette GT model kit/slot car
1/24 Lotus toy car to slot car conversions, 3 of these!
1/32 modified Vega
1/24 Drag car/funny car
1/32 Nascar Ford truck, building to hopefully resin cast
1/32 Nascar Checy truck, most likely gonna strip and touch up to resin cast
1/32 Indy car, Danica repaint, tells you how long this one has been on the shelf, ha!
1/32 Corvette Daytona prototype scratchbuild from about three different bodys, etc.
1/24 Midget, final touches on a proxy car.
HO, even trying my hand at a few of these repaints, quite the challenge.

Greetings, sounds like many interesting things are going on. More than one project at a time is a good thing. Get to play with more tools that way. I have these two projects going on. Lots of grinding, sanding and rebuilding to do yet.

As far as prodjects go.......I think if I live to be 400 years old, I'll never get them all done.

I like doing a few at once, while waiting for paint to dry or glue to get hard, I start on another one

but the midget is done, its on the trailer ready to go to the proxy :banana-rock:

Greetings, The Jag body comes from a company in Spain Called A2M. They are listed over in the resin builders post in the scratch building section. I have two more chassis' to build on my new fangled chassis jig. Got it in trade along with some parts I had been looking for, for a couple of cars. Missing the center part and more for 1/24 than what I build, But by using both ends of the jig and making the chassis adjustable it workd out just fine. I like it. Regards, John
