Hey guys what motors are you using to replace the yellow motor
that comes in the Racer Capri? I have a Carrera track running 12 volts,
These motors are just a little on the hotside. any ideas?

If you want to stay with te long can style motor try a Sideways Baby Raptor or the Jaws motor. We use the Piranha in them but that is a small can motor.

Ninco NC2 or 5 or FLY FK-180 but will hang out the bottom of the pod about 1mm and will also add weight to the tail end. One of my cobber's has a FK-180 in his Capri so they must fit.

You could put a diode or two in series with the original motor. One or two 1-2 amp diodes should do the trick, each on will reduce the voltage by 0.7 volts. The diodes must be pointed in the right direction.

Better still fit a SlotIt sidewinder pod then you have access to plenty of choice and sidewinders are MUCH smoother.
