Anyone want to know ...
Mike from Cloverleaf Racing was kind enough to rush this to me.
NSR Porsche 908/3 No.5 Team Escuderia Montjuich, Le Mans 1972 NSR0095SW
Beautiful car. Tampo, fit & finish are exceptional. Comes with the new 21.5k s can motor. Very peppy, lots of torque, and braking. We run all NSR Classics with Shark 20 motors, so this 21.5 will be going in the drawer. Another fine offering from NSR.

NSR 908s are my preferred car of choice. Excellent pick up.

Got mine last Wednesday and ran it a bit leading up to our Can Am type class we were running that evening (I took it apart cleaned and lube everything, set the front ride height, trued the fronts and put on some silicones). It's fast but not as fast as my Thunderslots Mclaren - maybe a couple 10ths off and that means its certainly no slouch. One of the guys had a miscue with his Can Am so I loaned him my 908. He loved it. It also looks much better in person.
Well done NSR!

I've noticed the same Mark, the 908/3 is good...well, to be honst - very good. But the term "excellence was expected" comes to mind before I got my 908/3 (you Porsche afficiandos will hopefully get that reference).
From the relative size/shape/proportions, I was expecting an absolute bullet ... nevertheless, it hasn't stopped me from enjoying it

Agreed it’s not the rocket ship we all most likely expected. We run NSR Classics with Shark20 motors, so it actually fits in nicely with that crowd. And have to admit, it is a real looker.

Yeah baby!
Needs some tuning but the spirit is willing.

I didn't forget it, you wouldn't give it to me.
But thanks for the car.

I am really surprised to hear this. I have not had one customer tell me this has happened to them. We ran them in the nationals last year and had no issues that I was aware of. I do remember quite awhile ago that the standard or older classic motor pod would snap at the bushing but as far as I know that issue was resolved.
