Had a run on a new track this afternoon

Phoeno has built a nice single lane rally track. The track is great to drive, nice scenic elements - I was taking photos all over the place - like going to watch a regular rally.

Clarified or reinforced my idea that for me slot cars is more about driving around a track hanging the tail out and generally having fun trying out all these lovely little models. I will keep racing but look forward "recreational slow-motion-slotcarcruising" or "Cruise-o-rama" as it was posed by a chap on another forum.

That's a great rally track! I used to converse with Phoeno about his other tracks a long time ago. I always liked his builds.

I agree - I enjoy seeing the car run and really enjoy the scenic aspect of slot cars.

And you picked my favorite rally car (Fiat 131) to do the slowmo camera shots. Looks very fun and love the scenery. Like DR I'm an old model railroader that likes to go fast. :dance:
