Sounds like a hornet's nest....

...in the Man Cave. I just remotored 3 of my MRRC Sebring cars with the M/T SL-1 motors. Adjusted the pinion angle as the Wise one showed me to make the mesh MUCH smoother, and put them on the blocks to break in the gears with some of The Stuff. After an hour, the RPM's are way up. Doing three of them at once may have been a bad idea though! :character-jason:

I think I need a sound proof box to do this in.

What are your tips when doing this? Leave the basement/house/shop?

Oh baby! I did the King Cobra, my Lotus 30, and a Chappy 2C. These things run fantastic now!

Hey, sounds (ahem) good!

I just do one at a time over on the bench at low voltage. Not too bad, can hardly hear it.

I always mesh my gears with a Rizla *** paper, then just drive 'em! OK, I did raise the back end of the motor with a tiny sliver of lead to help the mesh align better, but apart from that, off it went. Original tyres et al as I wouldn't know a Ninco Soopah-Doopah from an Ortmann De Luxe! And I'm too tight to buy any. ;)
