I'm at the Carrera office in NJ (which I only visit a few times a year) and i guess you could say my whole normal daily schedule is off... LOL...

You're welcomed to take the "you ruined my child's Christmas" calls if you'd like. I usually get at least 10 of those a year.

There seems to be 2 "official" photos - one with a driver and one without.
Do we know if it is a "ghost" car or not? ;)

This car has a driver. The photo I just posted IS the slot car, it has a driver.

Has anyone picked one of these up? If so, care to give your impressions?
I've read first-impressions elsewhere from a couple of people who did get these, they're mostly positive, and I'm wondering what the HRW crew thinks. Dave's photos look rich and impressive, but some pics of this release taken by people who bought it make the car almost look like cleared red plastic.
If I ever find a magic lamp, I'm going to ask the genie for a standard release of this car. That's probably the only way we'll get one, so I'll start digging out back for lamps.
