I've been wanting to add a Lola Corvette GTP to my collection for a while now but was unable to turn the resin kit I got into something I was willing to display. I finally contacted BettaandClassic and ordered their 1/32 clear polycarbonate body. Five days later I had the body in hand. Fortunately it was not hard to decide what chassis to use with the body. A while back I had purchased a couple of the basic Fly Joest Porsches and that chassis fits this body perfectly. And since the rear wing is attached to the chassis all I had to do was cut out the wing mount attached to the body and it all fit like a glove. Here are some images showing first the Porsche body and then the Corvette.

Very nice! Did you decal from the inside and paint or put them on the outside?

A technique that I have used with quite a bit of success is to apply decals on the inside and then clear coat them prior to do anything else. It will keep the tape from pullin any of the decal off. Just something to think about in the future.

Being that you are a model railroader I'll assume you already know, but in case you don't,
use Champ Decalset on the decals before you clearcoat. It works as well on lexan as it does
on painted brass.

The Betta bodies are above par for vac-ed bodies. They are the only ones I know who have a
Shadow MK2 body in 1/32.
