A technique that I have used with quite a bit of success is to apply decals on the inside and then clear coat them prior to do anything else. It will keep the tape from pullin any of the decal off. Just something to think about in the future.

Being that you are a model railroader I'll assume you already know, but in case you don't,
use Champ Decalset on the decals before you clearcoat. It works as well on lexan as it does
on painted brass.
The Betta bodies are above par for vac-ed bodies. They are the only ones I know who have a
Shadow MK2 body in 1/32.

stunning. been looking at the beta and classic kits myself. how thick is the body? is it rigid or flexible?
