Harry, what size axle did you use? I'm about to order a pair of wheels and would like to buy the axle at the same time. I know I have a few somewhere in all my boxe, but you can never have enough. :-)

Tony, we always recommend upgrading to a quality axle such as Slot.It when using our wheels.
Doing some quick measuring, it appears the 48mm length would work, as would a 50mm (just to be absolutely sure)

Other quality 3/32" axles that work are Sloting +, Plafit, Parma, etc.

There you have the answer. I use 3/32nd music wire in bulk for many projects, but when I order Slot.it axles I always get the longer ones and trim them to suit the model.

Harry, I pulled the plug. Just ordered my wheels from SCC and tires from Paul. Can't wait to to run some laps on the new track. 4x4 Superbirds. :-)

I get ejector pins, 12 inch long they are about 4.00
they are hardened and ground to a very close tolerance in straightness and diameter


Tony its the same rods that came with your jig

Wish I had ejector pins. Must be cool to know someone who has those.
