I have jsut pre-ordered the Scaleauto BMW Z4 Coupe. I got the presentation livery because it is so clean looking. I am thinking of getting another livery for a mate. I have never pre-ordered before. I can't wait.

My local shop had clearance prices on a Slot.it Alfa 33 and a Carrera Mercedes W125 in D132 digital. The Alfa will probably lose it's motor to a NASCAR proxy racer, getting a Hawk in place of. The MBZ W125 is a D132 chip donor, still need static models, ya know.

My next cars are going to be two of Bruce's recent specials, a Carrera 512bb and a Fly M1 "Red Lobster" car. I want to start putting together a sub-class for my Group C cars.

Those Carrera Ferrari 512bb's are one of the sweetest models to run, I have an older used one I got in a swap, am keen to get a tidier version to mess with...

I was sussing out that M1 myself, it's a Lemans livery, nice too...

I ended up getting the Red Lobster M1, wanted it to pair with the Mono March 83G.

Tell you what though, I thought the hobby had got a bit "flat" of late, not so, plenty of interesting stuff just released or not too far off on the horizon!

Well, given that you are racing on wood...I don't know of any that run "excellent". None of them are going to be as "race ready" as the recent Sideways and SCX Pro cars you reported on.

Any of the new MRRC Cobras can be tuned easily enough, but so can the Carrera. If you have any experiences with the Sebring style chassis, the MRRC might be your first choice.
