Your Next Car - Part 2

I've had the new green SCX MGA on preorder since October, so that's the next one that I'm expecting- of course I have no idea when (or if) it will arrive.

Beyond that, I'm more concentrating on the cars that I already own. I have too many that have either remained in their case since I bought them, or were run once but were crumby so went back in their case. The plan is begin bringing these cars to life- to make smooth runners out of them. I'm not looking for fast-lap setting monsters here, just solid runners that are a joy to toss on the track. The hope is to keep as much of the stock equipment as possible, replacing parts only when necessary.

I may also re-motor some of my blurs to something a lot milder so that I can actually see the car as it goes around the track. I'm a bit tired of running cars that end up shooting around the rails and leaving trails that look like glow-sticks being twirled in the dark.

Having said all of this, my next car is one that I already own- just reborn!

The Bluesmobile is pretty good around the track with its long wheelbase but I really love the graphics on the Chicago police car
