My repaint of a Pioneer Mustang

Postby Modlerbob » Mon Mar 18, 2013 8:07 pm

When these Mustangs came out some had a problem the tampo rubbing off. When I and others reported this Jules contacted me to get my snail mail address and shortly thereafter I received in the mail a brand new body that had been properly sealed. So that left me with a perfectly good body save the lettering. I just got around to stripping the body and repainting it. Instead of spending money to get specific decals I just decalled it in late 1960's generic markings. Here it is.

Really nice looking Mustang, Bob! Love the colors. Funny enough, just talked to a guy about a 1968 Mustang tonight...no, I'm not buying it - he was looking for a good shop.

Excellent work on that Notchback.

That is a great color and the decals look just right.

No, no, David! Its grime and dirt, not poop. The poop color costs extra and you have to wear a mask to spray it.
