Well, as my vacation winds to an end and I return to a less than idyllic work environment on Monday, I have to say I had a great two weeks off! Not only did I get to spend Christmas with the most amazing wife and kids in the world, celebrate my 24th anniversary with said bride, and get some honey-do's done - I also got 5 cars completed, 8 others re-motored, my bridge finished, the pits worked on, the shop organized, and didn't fall off the roof whilst removing the Christmas lights today. All-in-all, I'd say it was a good time!
So, without further ado, here are the Can-Am's circa 1966 at the PDR that I took with my Kodak Instamatic camera:

Front Row from Left to Right: #64 McKee Mk6 of Bud Clusseruth and the McKee Mk6 #77 car of Mat Kron x 2- 1 on these is going to Mr. Bob McKee himself!

Back Row from Left to Right: #4 McLaren M1b of Bruce McLaren and the #47 McLaren M1a "Elva" of Bruce McLaren

And a bonus picture just because...I think if I had a fan blowing gas fumes and smoke in my face, I could almost think I was there...

All cars are powered by MRRC Sebring chassis with Paul Gage tires, M/T's SL-1 slim can motors, and in the case of the M1B, SCC wheels that I'm still working on inserts for. George Turner's kit came with a resin chassis that is very clever, but as I'm wanting parity, I cut the sides off the chassis he supplies, glued them to the body, and added mounts for the Sebring. Very happy with the results.
These were fun to build, but as usual, I did too many at once and am whipped. I am not a Master Tuner like Mr. Wise or a Master Builder like Mr. Wright/Mr. Bibbster, INSERT NAME HERE...therefore they took longer than I'd like. All of them run really nice though and I'm really pleased with them.
I'm thinking I'd rather stay in the basement than go to work on Monday...besides these things are just so freaking cool looking going around the track!
