Just a quick note to let everyone know that the Ford-Ferrari Wars cars wil be in the mail to you on Monday morning. I've had the cars for about 3 weeks now, but was waiting to see how much money we had left over from the registration fees to use for prizes. We didn't have enough for everything that I was looking for. But our friends at Slot Car Corner came through and made a significant contribution to the prizes!! So, courtesy of SCC, we have prizes for everyone!

Every entrant gets a new Minnow 18k rpm slim can motor for each car entered. Third place (smokeio) gets that plus a set of CBDesign racing wheels now. Second place (chrisguyw) gets all that plus a new SCC 1/32 scale set-up block. And the winner (redlynr) gets all that plus a Slot.It compact gear puller.

So, congrats to our podium winners, to Team Ford, to the various hosts and driver teams around the world, and to everyone who participated in this series!

I have just a couple of things that I need to finish up the shipping:

1. 8wheels - I think you're Larry Kennedy - right? I found a stale-dated check in the bottom of your box; sorry. I'm returning it with your car.

2. Tony (brumos RSR) - your box has gone AWOL - so please PM me your shipping address; thanks.

That should do it. Look for your cars and prizes to start showing up towards the end of next week.

Must admit Allan this was a fun proxy. Enjoyed following it and the race reports were really good. Congrats to the racers and the Hosts for a fun time.

Received my Ferrari today (in the worst snowstorm of the season-go figure... :lol: )

At best it was a mid pack car, but it was really cool to see stickers of the rear of the car indicating where it's traveled.

Received my GT40 today, all in good shape along with the new decals and motor also some old paperwork. Thanks to Allen to bring this proxy idea into beaning. Thanks to all the tracks and drivers around the world for there help to run the laps need to finish the proxy. :text-thankyouyellow:

Returned home from the road trip for work and the little Ferrari made it home. Thank you love the stickers
