Taniya Mclaren Elva

Just putting the finishing touches on this one. Its a Re -pop Tamiya Elva body, that has been modified for a more accurate driver figure, and to remove the motor hump that is part of these bodies. I loosely patterned it after a 1:1 car, but made some small changes to suit me. The chassis is all brass scratchbuilt, using a 21,500 FK motor,Parma guide and braids, Parma gears at 9/31, 1/8" axles and H&R wheels, insert are from an old friction car. color on this is Dupliclor bronze laquer, with ACE brand enamel clear. Decals are Gopher roundels and numbers, parts bin sponsor decals. Super fast car, that handles extremely well! I am very pleased with this one overall.
