Ferrari 290 MM

This was a limited run but sorry I cannot remember who made the body (supposed to have been driven by JMF and have a yellow and blue nose but I can't mask to save my life). Decals were not particularly good so I scrounged something from the parts bin. It was initially very heavy and I think the body weight was reduced by a third and it still is rather stout. Yes, it's missing the windshield and I've no idea where it ended up on the floor... Underneath we find yet another brilliant chassis by Mr. Samson (the fifth one he's done for me) with a Slot It 21.5K motor and running gear and wheels by Racer. The sullen driver body came from the parts bin and I used the usual fantastic Immense Miniatures head - can't remember who it's supposed to be but it looks like Kirk Douglas to me complete with dimpled chin.
