That looks great. I love those old gowland kits, and the re issues. They make some fun slot cars. Looking forward to seeing your end result.

Yes a very interesting model. You will make a stunner as usual.
Nice one there Mitch. Not all fun slot cars are light speed fast.

Yup, doesn't have to be fast to be fun...
That's a great build! Kitbashing allows so many more interesting cars....how about the chassis shots?

Mitch, your MG looks really nice!
I sprayed some Rustoleum Gloss Almond paint on the body. Here is also a picture of the chassis before I mounted the posts to the body. Not really a great chassis, but I am just trying to use what I have. It is [was]a brand new chassis. It dose run well though in testing! Not a real high RPM motor, but that suits this car well.

After some slicing and dicing plus some scratch building, the interior is done. Driver is from Pioneer.

Is that Wimbleton White? I originally painted mine that color, then switched to black, then for the "Last Open Road "proxy I added a passenger and painted it green and removed some of the parts to match the one in the book.
You've done a great job on the details

Killer finish!
You know you got it right when it reflects your work bench. I see a lot of painstaking brush touch too.
I can almost read the Tach
