SRC Porsche 914-6 build2 - brass chassied

The SRC Porsche 914-6 Jagermeister body-only came up again at Victory Lap Hobbies. Put together my regular adjustable wheelbase chassis with the Devised Designs super slimline motor pod.



Mounted the body for a good stance.







Should be running tonight.

Done. Wheel detail and interior tray completed.









Weighs in at 91g for a nice planted feel.

I have mixed feelings about this car.....my best friend got an orange 914-6 for his 16th birthday in 1970........while it was no doubt super cool......I was so jealous :drool: , I hated it :angry-tappingfoot:

I have a couple of these SRC 914s and was fortunate enough to own several 1:1 914s during my time in So. Cal. in the 80s. They were dirt cheap back then. I never paid more than $3,000. So much fun to drive and cheap to maintain as well. Boy I wish I had one now!!!
