One of a few cars that have recently arrived Lamborghini Centenario part number C3957

The only thing that comes to my mind is "WHY?".

People like Lamborghinis.

And, ya know... Kids like these kinda things I'm told.

Sure...but given the hardship scalextric claims is going through I do not know how wise is to throw money at these spurious models.
Your base fan in the UK is asking for more models on the BTCC series (merc, ford, toyota, etc) and they have been told that there is nothing planned on this front. Your GT3 class is broken with the old-ish models in SW vs the new models in IL configurations (plus lighter bodies and interiors - which are good changes as I have pointed out many times).
The PSR chassis (that could have helped in bringing the old models up to speed with the new ones) has been canned...So, if you guys think that this is the way to go (coming out with "kids like this sort of thing" models) good luck!
Anyway, reading through the comments here it seems that on your side of the pond things are not that bad.

How about doing something that is not mainstream but extremely cool: lamborghini super trofeo!







I am pretty sure that these attractive liveries and the coolness of these cars will attract both the kids and racers.
This could be a very nice and unique class.

Those could race very nicely against other GT style cars for sure......

Amazing how people are never satisfied. A company releases new slot cars and just because it's not their cup of tea, they frown on the company. I for one am happy to continue seeing new releases come out. When I stop seeing new releases, then I would be worried. :)

There's nothing wrong with this release. It's a cool looking car.
