Scalextric Porsche 911 RSR with chassis change

So this car is not new, but the chassis has been addressed. That "Bump" that covered the crown gear is gone and now wide open.

I did not have an issue when I reviewed the first car, but others with certain track sections and borders did.

So they changed it.

Not a big deal for some. BUT the fact they listened and responded is worthwhile and appreciated. At least to me is.

Thanks for pointing this out Harry, I'm just looking at the sample I got while I was on my recent trip and sure enough you're right, it's changed. A good modification.

Tried my new Falken Tire 911 out tonight and noticed a click where my feeders were soldered on and where some splices in the tape were made.
Out came the Dremel and the sanding drum. Viola! Gear bump eliminated and all well.
Glad to see a problem for a few was rectified by Scalextric for all.
