Proposed box art for new sets.

Policar racing sets by the end of this year ! No point in having track and not making sets is there ? The first sets will be available before the end of the year, and possibly before the whole range of track pieces is available. The controllers are already tested, including by me at Nuremberg, and Maurizio confirmed that sets will be supplied with a fully adjustable power supply that will have enough power output to use 90% of cars without the need to upgrade. A simple track connection can be sen in the pictures, enough for the first basic sets, but with Digital already planned plus the need for race control and lap systems in the future there is much development underway already.

So that adjustable supply, then if we notice...all borders in the set included. And finally the power base options.

This is how the sets will be different and improved over current offerings. Anyone that has had to order borders for their track knows that can be a big added cost. We shall see the set retail price when it is announced, but it might worth the extra set cost just to have those borders. Or it would for me.

I am liking what I am seeing! Adjustable power and having the boarders included are definitely perks in my book!
The track surface looks like it has a lot of tooth to it - will be interesting to see if that is what the production track ends up with?
(should make for great adhesion for paint if it does - and could make for some cool looking road surface with a light sanding after applying paint, letting the black peeks poke through?)

My first thought was about the interesting surface texture.
It is very much like a brushed concrete look.
