Hope they're going to make a bad guy to chase around the track.

The first thing I would do is paint the blower belt black :twocents-mytwocents:

One of the guys I race Carrera D124 with has often talked about building Mad Max style cars complete with cow-pushers and mounted (non-firing) guns. The racing would be crash and burn, with the last man standing the winner. I presume this could easily be accomplished with Scalextric Digital as well. All you would need is a field of customized copies of this car.

This car has an in-line motor. A friend ran one at our local track yesterday. Can you tell me what the gear ratio is ? TY
It was a very quiet car !

Been trying to find one. The one on E-bay is very pricey. Any tips?

Already sold out lots of places, but a few dealers still have some.
I plan to also get one of those monster trucks from Scaley and paint it up as a War Boy ride. May see if i can make a few mods to it to gnarly it up as well.
Might look at one of Scaley's hot rods for that as well. Or, since I like putting Devis chassis under Pyro cars from the '30s, one of them would make a good War Boy ride to drive against the last of the V8 interceptors......

nope not here yet - it is in the UK - have seen it on UK eBay
word is Scalextric didn't make as many of them as they planned and that a lot of places are sold out to pre-orders
I think they have done a good job

Good story on the movie car here:
