Watching Pickers tonite and they just showed a short clip before the commercial and they are at Bernards and actually racing some cars on his 3 lane Scalex 1/24 track. Well kept secret, I guess.

I saw it also, quite the collection. He said it was worth 1.5 million! I can't imagine a slot car collection worth that much.

Not sure about the one million figure. Bernard has collected every variety he could find and every unusual and old slot car made in the world. I'm sure he does not have it "all", but he has more than anybody else I know of. He doesn't have all the MIB stuff like Scott does. Even if it is worth one million, who in the world has one million they want to spend on slot cars. I think somewhere in that collection is a Marx wind up race set that I traded to him back around 1980! Good to see slot cars represented on a show like Pickers. Of course every old slot car found will be worth hundreds after the general public sees this show!
