Now I really like that paint scheme. Looks like a "typical" paint job one would see from that era. Dave K did you have a hand in this?

Very sharp car !
However....I wish Carrera could/would design a car body that was closer to the track, like Scalextric .

You mean a Mustang? Well i had to use this mold as it was at the time. I wasn't able to redesign the chassis of it before it was released.

Great looking Mustang. I've passed on the earlier versions because as much as I like all of the Carrera cars I have, this is my absolute least favorite chassis. This one is really stunning so I'll overlook the chassis.
Now for those of us that want a stock Brittany Blue street Mustang without the graphics, how do we remove just the tampos without hurting that beautiful paint?

I love the stance of those Carrera cars that look like this. Seems very period correct for cars from the 70's when air shocks were al the rage. I had more than a few cars setting up over the years. For me it is a selling point.
I will be picking this one up for sure.
In fact there are a lot of Carrera cars on my list.
Dave, is there any chance that new Torino can get a paint scheme of the number 21 Mercury? The 2 bodies are very close in appearance and the 21 was a really strong competitor.

Well I don't know that Ford would approve a livery that was on a Mercury. It is a bit early to start working on 2017 but we'll consider all the options.
