New D124 set

So this set just arrived today at the Carrera of America warehouse.
It features an exclusive Ferrari only available in this set. This set has the radius 2 and 3 curves which makes this set the largest figure-8 set we've made.

Aww man! I should really read Dave's email, I was too excited, D124 is digital. :( Not ready to go there yet.

I'd like to point out that racing digital slot cars does not in fact give one cooties.

The group I race with put on a D132 slot car demo (along with much appreciated assistance from Dave Kennedy) a couple weeks ago, and no one died. In fact, everyone who picked up a controller had a smile on their face. From grown-ups to grade-schoolers, they all sported the same elated expression. Proof of the results of digital racing can be seen in photos that Dave took of the event on Carrera's facebook page.

This particular set is nice in that you get two completely different curves. That's a nice move on Carrera's part that should serve to stave off the boredom that can come from consistently spinning around a standard figure-eight.

Must admit this is a cool looking set. I like the 2 radius curves, an interesting addition.
