Has anyone has done a back-to-back comparison between PGT and XPG tires on a latex-painted routed track?
Opinions?
Thanks.

a million times!
PGT is ultimately fastest, XPG is a much nicer smooth drive, more forgiving...matter of preference... Harry likes XPG the best... and I concur... unsanded PGT is the killer on plastic.

I learned something new!
I thought, with the XPG tires being softer, they would be the quicker tire (until they wore out).
Appreciate the info! :D

Paul,
I'm interested in PGT tires for Carrera 124 Porsche 997 GT3, Porsche 917K and Corvette C6R. I as look over the ebay site and SSC, I'm not seeing all the tires listed in one compound, some in one, some in the other. Is that correct or are my eyes just crossed.
From reading the above post, the PGT should give me more grip than XPG on a well run in Carrera track, speculating all things being equal.
thanks
