We'll be holding the race tonight. We're missing some people, so probably can't do live coverage. Full coverage will be posted tomorrow, with pictures and video. We'll be running the cars in two groups. Each car will rotate through all 6 lanes, 4 minutes per lane. At the end of race 1, the cars will be parked in the infield at their finishing position. Final order will be determined by total laps. Ties in total laps will be broken by track position.

Pics and video will be posted tomorrow, but I wanted to get you the results right away. First, let me say that we always treat other people's cars with the utmost respect and care... but this was a rough event. We have dislodged drivers, one woman got her pony tail snapped off, and two cars did not finish. One had a braid issue that we could not resolve. We attempted a repair, but it didn't last. Another car had an intermittent power loss, and then finally stopped. the success story was the winner. This one must have got damaged in shipping. The tail end was dragging on the track, and we found the chassis bent up pretty badly in the back. We straightened it out, and it ran great. Please accept our apologies for the damaged cars.

Well, the car did have a paintjob that resembles a cracked egg with the yolk spilling out, so I suppose this is a fitting end to its circuit tour.

7 car - intermittent power loss, finally just died
8 car - missing braid, couldn't get a new one to stay in
There weren't an inordinate number of wrecks, and we actually had a lot of heats with no wrecks. It seemed like the cars were just tired.

Our race format was 4 minute heats, cars rotate, drivers do not. Each car was driven by each driver by the end of each race. We ran two 5 car races. The rotation through the lanes is 6-4-2-1-3-5. Track dimensions:
12 foot straights, 6 foot outer diameter turns. Lap length:
Lane 6 - 54.25 feet
Lane 5 - 53.25 feet
Lane 4 - 52.25 feet
Lane 3 - 51.25 feet
Lane 2 - 50.25 feet
Lane 1 - 49.25 feet
Also, after seeing the wide range of tire sizes and compounds, we opted to not treat the tires at all, and let the car do the talking.
