A friend's mother had one of those. It had variable ratio steering, so a 1/4 turn of the steering wheel from straight made a wide turn, but once the wheel had turned one revolution, a 1/4 turn would stand you on your ear. With a 400 c.i. engine, that was a donut cutting machine. Ah, to be 17 and wantonly destructive again...

The green #2 57 Chevy seems to have it's front wheels binding up inside the front fenders. Do we repair it?

Hmmm, well should be something simple right? I would guess the folks here would not mind.

At least I don't. I want to see them all race :)

GREAT photos by the way, this is the fun part.

The more of these pictures I see, the more I like that red Plymouth. It really is a standout.

I like the people in the shots, too. That adds to the fun.

Please repair as necessary, it looks from the pics the chassis is too far back in the body probably a result of the body posts getting broken in transit earlier in the proxy. I was afraid the last two race results were related to something of this nature as the car performed well in the first race. Thanks for any repairs and let me know if I owe you anything for the repair.

Regards
Rico

Hi Rico - No charge. I agree that the body position is the issue. I think it is going to be fine with the spacer in place though.
