Saying no pods in class B kills my usual building style and eliminates three cars I already have built, but hey, I have until February to re-chassis one of them to a pod-less design.

I'm in For a B class car, And will host a leg of the race as well.
I have a bunch of Can Am cars in RTR form, but have never built a brass sidewinder! this will be fun, and a learning adventure as well.
Thanks Dave! I look forward to something new.

I'm interested as well, for an entry in both classes, and my track is available for a round.

I have some questions about the rules.

Class B says " same as above " for wheels and tires, then it says "urethane tires". Does that mean urethane only, or either rubber or urethane?

Also, the rules say "all brass". Does that mean no piano wire or other steel parts?

Thanks

I'm in - definitely in Class P with a '73 Porsche 917-30; Sunoco livery, #6, please!

And, hey I have to try it sometime - right? .................... so, I'll sign up for Class B, too. Car to be determined; #19, please. I will need lots of help...........

I'm ordering Razor John's building block today!

Now, where can I find a list of CanAm cars '66-'74?

The River Run is available if you need another track for this series.

Whoops - change of plans.

I'd like to run one of the CG-3D 1970 Chaparral 2J's in the P class; #66, please.

And, in the B class, the 1973 Porsche 917-30; #6, please. Guess I better study up on brass chassis building...... this is going to be ugly.........but I'll chalk it up to my first brass chassis build............. Who knows, maybe it will even run.................

I'm with ya Dave, I'll go for class P and B, # 23 in both please.
And The mountain is available for track hosting .
Possibly I can get 442 4 ever in aswell and that puts 2 tracks in an hour of each other , so no extra postage.
Way to go Dave.

I'm back IN if the original Group 7 type of nonsense is still allowed (would like to run my R381), if not, I'll build something.

I'm assuming we DON'T have to reserve car numbers?

Am actually thinking about a second B class entry..............I figure my first brass chassis will be so bad that I'll need to build a second one............so why not a second car?

Now what was the closest competitor to the Porsche 917-30 back in '73...................? Then again, I may have a spare McLaren hanging around in a box somewhere.............. Choices, choices - fortunately for me, they're all good!

This is the first CanAm car proxy that I've come across so far; great idea!! :text-bravo:
