BTW - If you don't mind a "super speedway" track in the mix - I would be happy to host these little buggers on the banked tri-oval at Mark's Model World! :D
(Hopefully APalmer and Slot Therapist will get in on this too!)

I assume Mini pickup trucks are good for the Mini class?
I'll tell you this... I have had enough of the front wheel drive realism craziness. I never got that car to run better than just getting around the track last time!

Sorry for being late to the game here Dave! I have been plastering the Dragons lair.
Of course I am in, and will host on as many tracks as you think would be appropriate. The hill climb will be long done by then, so it will be available also. I will have an entry in both classes too.
Sounds like more fun is on the way!
Bob

I would hope to be able to host one or two events for these cars. One of our club-mates, Mike has Luf's bullring, seen here-
http://www.oldslotracer.com/Bullring1.htmlI might just have to make an oval on a single sheet of mdf, and also have the Minidrome that could be used for a fun round.
Count us in to host.
Keith

You are right, Dave, a Mini with a Lightning would be an unmanageable beast. Maybe set the limit at 22K, so that people could use Piranhas, if they DARED!
I will probably be tempted to build another buggy if we do them, as there are things about the one I did that I would change.
I posted a thread in the Scratch build forum on my buggy build. It was really no harder than the hot rods and mods we have been doing.
http://homeracingworld.us/viewtopic.php ... ggy#p92271Would group 1 Mini have to run 10" wheels? or can the wells be opened a bit? I know, the rules are coming, just asking.
Cheers,
Keith

I think we can host in Picton Ontario too Dave.
Riverslide , is a routed 3 lane trioval with variable powersupply
back stretch is 18 feet long, flat no banking.
Trackmate lap timer.
Let me know.
