Bob,
car arrived home safe today sir, thank you for the run!
Boy did every ones right rear tire get shredded, or was maybe my front to rear weight way off the chart ?

Mark, mine was shredded pretty good, too. Going to take a lot of sanding to make those tires usable again! Entire inside of the Galaxie's trunk area was BLACK!

I'll throw on a new set of shoes to see if I can hold off the competition next time around :)

Well I guess it was across the board, so I believe now that Paul Gage is the "GOODYEAR" of slot cars. we need to send him all our used up tires for his RD department to do some testing and evaluation.
Don`t force us to go to "HOOSIERS" Paul. :text-imnewhere:

My tires were also shot out. That right rear was the worst.
Glad the cars are getting home safely, that lady at the PO gave me the weirdest look, with all those little boxes all at once! and one to Canada too. She is not my biggest fan. Had a great time guy's, thanks for giving me the opportunity to run them.

Sounds like everyone had tires going down. How did the drivers ever keep them off the wall?
Thanks for all your efforts, Bob. I will look for "The King" to return home.

Box with car came today. I haven't opened it yet. Building 6 proxy cars. 5 of which need to shipped by Wed or Thurs. I wonder how the tires held up on the lean on me Plymouth?

Mine came today. The battle wounds look so good, I'm keeping them. I wouldn't fix a thing. Thanks to all who took such good care of all our fun.

Looking forward to checking mine out (hopefully tonight) - guess when you run 700-800 racing laps with another "X" number of warm up and qualifying laps, somethings gotta give... :)
(wonder just how many miles that would be!)

Opened my box last night and the tires looked pretty good. Looks like they wore even on both sides. Let go put that fancy caliper I bought last month on them and check them out.
OK 19.8mm on the left side 19.7mm on the right side. Must have been the liberal body float. Which may mean that my right rear tire was not getting as much grip based on what the others are seeing. Maybe one of the experts will chime in.

Got a chance to check mine out briefly last night - but didn't think to put a caliper on them - but similar to you Arrold - the right rear on mine looked pretty good as well...
Will have to measure them this week and see where they fall.
Wonder if it was due to the suspension action with that skunk works chassis I had under it? :)

Swapping sides in the rear each race would maybe help next time? Or are they glued?
