You can get that kind of nose attitude with an H&R Jack Rabbit motor....................!?!?
Time for more weight in the front..............

Yup! already in the works. Had to start somewhere, but that was way to much gear (numerically) much better now.
Cant test it for the top end, so I am in the dark on that.

Just put a set of bars and wheelie wheels behind it. That will keep the front from coming up and put the power to the back.Yeah I know the bar is cock eyed. Didn't realize the motor bracket wasn't square till after the pic. But you get the idea

For future reference, what gear ratio was that? This whole slot dragging is new territory for me. You gotta' know I love it, eh?

I'd start SW 12:31 or 12:30 and go taller from there with a Piranha motor. IL probably start at 10:23 and go taller from there. No car for me in this race, just thinking about gearing options for "Frank"

Allan, with my rear tire profile, I am thinking 2:55 overall gear set. That video was done with our standard in-line 9-27. I backed off from that, and the car did much better. Terminal velocity at 50 some feet will be hard to get just right first time around without a test track.
In the 1:1 world, i always wanted to be redlined at the traps, or as close as i could get anyway. I have 2 1/2" of roll out on the rear tires, i want more, but i am unsure of the PG tire that would work for me.
