Just trying to come up, with a H and R Hawk motor.
If I can find one count me in. Not much in the H and R field north of the border.
But I've put out the word.
I'll confirm asap with my 34 ford ready to rumble

Many thanks Bob, and all the rest of you for your kind offers to get me set up
Today I buy frame rails , and tonight I light the torch lol.
I'll try and take pictures of the ensuing fire before evacuating lol
I discoverd an interesting aspect about building from scratch.
Its one thing to have the tools, but a whole different bag in knowing how to use them.....
All the best

Chappy, we will be using the Shotgun clock on your build so when i say go,, You have 23 minutes to get it built, any more than that and you are dragging your feet. That does include paint drying time by the way!
I am sure you will build a nice one!

23 minutes, sheesh it took me that long just to find tube the fit in tube at the Hobby Shop hehehe.
Paint,, you mean I have to paint it too,,, man you guys are asking a lot, 34 ford came molded in red, OK I'll do something different.
Actually I think I will use the 23 to my advantage , I will number the car 23 in honor of the Shotgun timed build method lol.
This is going to be fun...

Another proxy? You guys are killing me!
Ok, so I already have a coupe body from Bob and an H&R Hawk motor. Chassis is no problem, and I can "steel" the wheels and tires from my Camaro Sportsman that is back from Harry. The only excuse that I can think of is that I will have to paint another slot car body, but it is getting warm enough here in Vancouver, I may be able to spray it outside.
So yes, I'm in.
Now please guys, no more new proxies for a while, eh?
Cheers,
Keith

Rolling chassis done last night, very basic , but I didn't burn down the house .
Next steps will be interesting, but I am getting to find it a bit of fun creating this brass beast.
Pics will come in the build thread.

OK, now I have a dilemma. I have two rolling chassis to fit a coupe body, but which one should I use. The first is the one described on the honeycomb thread, and the second is the same except the guide is under the hood, so not seen. I think I will build up both with the same motors and then decide which one runs best. Pics to come later.
