RSR spoiler / valances are in the post for those that requested (3 of you). I included two per order, just in case something goes wrong with the first one and or if you feel inspired to build another, go Dave love the RSR! (note: Dave do you want me to send you the remaining RSR spoilers?)
- I sanded the bottom of the resin flat, then lightly sanded the plywood and used thin CA glue on the plywood to the resin.
- Go back over the backside underneath where the two meet and added another layer of CA, then hit it with kicker, wipe clean.
- Next was to soak the plywood with CA and then wait a little… if any wet looking CA is still there wipe it off. Hit that with kicker and wipe clean.
Using the steps above the plywood will get soaked with CA and make sanding and using the micro files fun, rather than having the wood splinter all up.
- After it is all shaped, I might lay down a thin coat of thick CA and fiberglass to the backside and on the resin body. Helps to spray glue the fiberglass to the piece, THEN apply CA.
