Only a 7% difference from fastest to slowest team rankings - that has to be some great racing! :D

Simulating dusk/twilight. It'll soon go dark with just the red track LED's lit.

I watched the last feew minutes of the race and it looks like it was a blast! Did Cloverleaf run a 8.55 sec. lap? WOW!

Great job by all involved! I can't wait to see the pictures!

Final results:

Shoreline - 9,071
Clover Leaf Racing - 8,861
Quebec - 8,698
CanAm - 8,401
Changing Gearz - 8,326

A HUGE "thank you" to all of the racers who gave up 3-4 days to participate in this event! I'd also like to acknowledge our race team sponsors who have established track records supporting and promoting our great hobby:

Clover Leaf Racing
Changing Gearz
Quick Slicks

Most of the racers are traveling home or getting some rest before doing so. It will take a day or two to get event pictures posted and some detailed race statistics. We'll also post more details about the actual race (I'm sure participants will be posting as well) and discuss some remarkable milestones several participants have achieved with respect to slot car endurance racing. This event also marked the first time we used live video streaming to allow interested slot car racers everywhere to view the event. There is a separate post with info on how to access the event video - the event video was also recorded and is available via YouTube for viewing. For future races, we plan to add additional cameras to provide different viewpoints around the track (and possibly in the pit area). One other items to mention - race participants managed to raise some money for the First Candle charity - more on that within the next day or so in a separate post. Time for some rest....

And thank you, Steve and your family, for hosting this great event! Everyone had a terrific time and both the race and the ambience could not have been better. I've heard it said in past years, that the spirit and camaraderie is as important as the race itself and I'm now a firm believer that that's true. Thanks also for the cancer fund donation program that goes on as part of this Enduro; just one other thing that helps to make it so special.

A special congratulations to the Shoreline team for preparing and driving a great car to victory this year!

As Rob just said we are getting ready to hit the road, I just wanted to say thanks again to Steve for putting on this great event. Thanks to all the teams that showed up. So glad to see Ray is doing better, hoping you will be able to make it out to the Michigan 24. Thanks to all the teams who ran our Quick Slicks tires not sure if any team didn't run them but I know at least 4 did. Will post more when I get home.

Thanks to Steve for organizing a great race. It was an honor to be on the winning team, Smokeio built a fantastic car. I believe that everyone used Piranha motors, all of the cars had the same speed down the long straight, so the differences between the cars were in the corners.

Looked like a great race guys!
I tuned in multiple times throughout the 24 hr coverage (loved the full darkness portion!) and saw some pretty good stints of side by side racing. The video quality was EXCELLENT!
Thanks for sharing the fun!
