Too bad your circle track ideas didn't work out -- maybe at a friend's house!

HI JOHN' Yes I saw your track help question over on SCI. Your one plan did look like mine. I do like the over under figure 8 type layout plan ' it just make all lanes more even. I wish I had more width but my room just gets to cramp. The 4 lane Carrera turns with outside border is 20in wide' So it takes alot of room to make a turn. I would say my biggest tip would be make sure you can walk around both sides of track. I could a put the track table up against the wall and got 2 more feet wide for track. But having done that once I would never do it again. Having to get up on the table to work is a nightmare. Its hard on the knees and back. Just so much easier to be able to walk around the track. Good stuff..am working on a similar style for my new track..just a bit longer, and wider ..but same idea...I like what you have done..post a full report as it gets raced into shape

It's a really good layout. In the past, I tried layouts like this, and they are my favorite.
