New track I've been working on.
3-lane, 84'er, routed 1/2" MDF, copper tape, Pyramid power. Flat latex paint and learning model railroad type scenery.

I really like how you made sure to have enough apron where it was needed.

Coming out of the banked corner to get any idea of the steepness. Its not a full out speed corner, but pretty fast. Also the outside lane could use a little more gutter as the blue paint can testify.
If you look close, you can see my sloppy routing job on the straight. This was the first segment of the track during construction. That is getting the bondo fix really soon. Its a result of spacing the nails in the router strip too far apart. I made a new strip for the curve so its smooth.
I'll post up scenery progress this weekend.

Very Nice - that is like no track I have seen before. I like the subtle banking - so much better than the plastic track banking.

Got trackmate running on one lane so far. Cleaned up the rats nest of wires. Also a few scenery pics.

I cant get my camera far enough away to get a good overview of the track. My plan consisted of a rough sketch on drafting paper that has disappeared. I suspect a buddy spilt a beer on it and it went in the wood burner! :lol: :lol:
