Marty Stanley was feeling well enough to come by Friday and spend the morning testing and tuning his 1/32 slot cars as well as a couple of his smaller 1/24th cars. This was his first visit in almost a year but I hope he will be able to make the trip many more times in the future. As usual we had a great time chasing each other around the track. I think the new and improved raceway will earn his seal of approval. I am looking forward to getting some organised racing on the schedule real soon with Marty participating as before.

ModlerBob,
I was completely satisated when I left "The Glen" yesterday. Once my wife got her bearings, it was "Nap Time" for me. I had a lot of FUN running on the new configuration of the track. I see a lot of technical sections that can either make or break a fast lap on the track. Congrats on finding Garold to do the work and yourself for giving him free rein.
Wow, the A/C was worth the price of admission. Even though the thermometer was showing a 100 degree temp as we left, inside the Florida Room, it was nowhere as miserable as it was in your old venue.
See you next Saturday.

Dunbar,
Saturday, August 8, Bob is planning a get together.
Hope y'all can be there.
Bob is trying to come up with a race program that will provide something for just about everyone.
Undoubtedly a difficult task, but after listening to Bob, I think he can pull it off.

Actually I see no reason for you to have to re-arrange any scheduling.
Perhaps I am missing something.
