Well Garold has cut the tables to the new dimensions and has them reassembled in my Florida room. With the ramp to the door gone there is sufficient room for the drivers and a few spectators. Probably this weekend we will figure out the cuts to the track sections and start that portion of the project.

I feel like a 10 year old schoolboy a few days before Christmas waiting to open my gifts. I have so much anticipation toward being able to drive my slotcars whenever I want.

Bob - that looks like some great progress!!! I can't wait to see it sometime!

You had a great thing going at the old place, but this is going to be so much better for you. I'm happy you'll get to play at all hours now with much more convenience for you!

That's shaping up like a really nice flowing track. I reckon you'll have heaps of fun on that bad boy.

Garold and I have decided to attach a shoulder to the outside of at least two of the corners making it a little harder to ride the wall in the outside lane. I will post pics as the work proceeds.
