Looks like a good time was had by all! :D

Have yet to try the digital arena - but 5 cars on a two lane track has got to be entertaining! :D

Don't fear the digital. We try to keep six cars on track at all times, that throttle doesn't just have an off and on position, it's got alot of middle too. When we have 8-12 racers, we pick two driver teams, run a long race and require driver changes at pit stops for fuel.

I just may have to come to Shelby Co. sometime.....

Clearly a fun time.

Now you've dipped a toe in the digital water,Jeremy, how about modifying that big oval with some lane changers, and having some realistic oval action?

I've read that you only need four to make it work.

Looks like great fun was had by all. You need to make an oval that runs counter clockwise the way Carrera should of made for the US market. When I first decided to get back into slot racing I either was to make a wood oval or go with a digital system. I decided to go with Carrera D132 and it is great fun. My only problem with the system is that it is made to run clockwise. Well I just can't go fast and turn right. So I figured out how to modify the control unit to enable the cars to run counter clockwise, go fast and turn left. All of the digital accessories work fine, also I moved the charging stations to one end corner of the track. My table is 14 X 6'4", The straights are approx. 6'6" long each and the corners approx. 8'6" long each. The corners are made with 3 (4X15 degree corner), followed by 3 (3X30 degree corner, then come out of the corner with 3 (4X15 Degree Corner). The front stretch has on double lane change as well as a single lane change I converted for the pit entrance. The back stretch has two double lane changes separated by on straight section. The action on the bullring is fast and furious, lots of close racing, blocking, and of course some wild crashes. If anyone is interested on how to modify the control unit and I will post instructions with pictures. Some minor soldering of wires and relocating the lap sensors are all that is required.

Thanks again to :) everyone that contributes with such great information to the HRW site, I see and learn new things all the time.
