New Track Layout - Feedback please

Postby rsoward » Wed Jun 04, 2014 3:37 pm

Here is a new table and track I am looking to build. There will be elevation changes around the outside the track.

In the layout, you can see there will be a pit lane. Looking to use Smart Sensors or Pit Lane Pro mod. Also, there is a short cut on the right side. I will have to test this off shot. Might have to make it shorter for the driver to gain the advantage if driven correctly.

Looking to do a mountain scenery layout with multiple elevation changes.

Please give feedback.

Thanks,

What about aprons (turn borders)? Personally I would not make a track without them. Giving the outside car the room to drift is something almost mandatory to me.

But, depends on your own taste.

I like the Pit Lane, but I would get rid of the short cut. Are those banked curves in the top right ? If so, that's a nice stretch to unwind in there.

Looks like a lot of track on the table. But then I'm having the same issues with my proposed layout. I'm 2 steps behind you, waiting for a Pit Lane, some straights, and some 1/30 curves, before I lay everything down.

Try it out.
