Ebay has Scalextric cars already digitized to Carrera -example: Carrera Digital 132 SEC3728 Ford Mustang Boss 302 1969. Note the SEC3728.
I'm guessing these cars with an "SEC" designation are not DPR, but have a Carrera chip installed? Any one know if this is the case and whether it's a good installation?

Can't tell from the auction photos how well the conversion is; even the plain white Mustang shows the chassis bottom but there no hole for the LED
I've done several of these for myself, its doable but takes some finesse and time, especially the taillights. I have bought from the seller and he has been reliable.
Why not ask the seller for more photos of the chassis exposed?

The Carson is easy to install ; here's a video:
It is larger than a Carrera chip, so more interior will need to be removed.

Car is going the wrong way. I don't see a reversing switch, is in on the inside?
