We are running SmartRace through an iPad and sending the display to a flat screen tv via a HDMI cable. The picture quality is great but we have a slight delay between the iPad and the TV. This is most noticeable on starts where the TV display and audio is a second or two behind the CU.

Any ideas on eliminating this delay?

Hi Bruce,

To my knowledge, there is no way to stop the delay. Whenever you mirror anything from a phone, tablet, etc to a tv via HDMI there is generally always going to be a delay. We had this issue when using my smartphone and now still face this issue while using an iPad. We go off the CU for the start. When the CU is counting down, we are focusing on the lights/sound of the CU. I guess it isn't ideal, but it works just fine.
