SmartRace question

We’ve been using SmartRace with our Carrera Digital. The biggest anoyayance is that it will occasionally record an absurdly quick lap time and keep that as the fastest lap, making it difficult to tell what changes you make while driving a lap actually help. These lap times sow up as .1 to .3 seconds.
Dos anyone know what causes this, and how to prevent it?
Thanks,
Bruce

You should be able to fix the issue by setting a minimum lap time for your track. The setting is found under the Tracks part of SmartRace.

I don't know if you have the same deal but I had the same lap time problem and it was because the pit lane is right after the control unit/start-finish track and if you pitted it recorded that interval between the two tracks as a lap. I disabled the extended pit lane/lap counting function on the control unit (in the instructions) and everything is good now. That extended pit lane deal is for if your pit lane is right across from the start finish line so it counts the lap when you pit.
