Apparent Digital Quirk
Posted: Mon Nov 05, 2018 9:57 pm2 nights ago, I set a car that had hadn't shown any problems on the Digital Carrera Track in the past. Without any controller activation, it sped down the straight and derailed at high speed and would not respond to the controller afterwards. I tried resetting the controller to the car and other controllers with no success.
Tonight I had a different car speed down the track with no controller activation. Unlike the other car from two nights ago, it still goes to max spoed as I hold its tires off the track but will not reset with any of the controllers. I tried several other cars that are still performing precisely to controller activation.
Anyone had anything similar. I'm hoping a trend is not establishing. I plan to replace the carrera digital chip in the first car as a first try to remedy the issue.
