SSD Controller Upgrade

A question was recently asked about how good SSD controllers are. My reply was that they are adequate for the job. "Adequate" isn't exactly a ringing endorsement but It isn't saying they are totally junk either. For most of us, going out and buying 6 aftermarket digital controllers at $100 bucks plus to outfit our tracks isn't a reality. So that means, we need to make do with what we have. I found this post over on SCI about an upgrade kit available for stock SSD controllers. http://www.slotforum.com/forums/index.p ... pic=102649

Good trick, and if you do mess one up. I found (and bought) these. They work great for what they are, and are cheap to replace.
