Have any of you used the Carrera Race App for your 1/32 Digital track?
I've been using mine for about a week. The lap counting seems accurate and the announcer/race sounds are a nice touch, but I've been frustrated with other aspects and was hoping for some advice/feedback:
1. It seems that if you're the race manager you can't race under your customized photo/profile.
2. When a race is over, there is virtually no information about each driver's performance – fastest lap, average speed, etc.
3. Worst of all, I'm getting the impression that the app works best when everyone racing has it downloaded to their own smart device so they can see their status/info. If that's the case, you need one smart device to manage the race and then a smart device for each person racing to truly enjoy this app.
Any thoughts?
I didn't much like Carrera's Digital Lap Timer and I don't know of other non-PC lap timing options for digital racing.

I went with Bruce Yingling free software. It connects the CU to the computer by USB , the cable may be from Carrera, but mine is from a German source. Everything is customizable , info is complete down to sector times if you piggyback another set of timing LEDs. I have a large monitor on the back strait that is easy to read for all. On SCI, there's a 90 page thread on it.
