Lane changes automaticly

Postby VaHeader » Tue Nov 19, 2013 8:27 am

We just set up a different layout and occasionally the single lane changers change on their own. this doesnt happen with the double lane changers. We ran six sets of additional wire taps. (roughly 75 feet of track) . Any idea why they would just change on their own? we even had it change too fast (or was stuck) and that brings the car to an abrupt stop in the middle of the back stretch as your reaching max speed.

Are any of you running non Carrera cars? Perhaps even a Carrera guide filed down to fit SCX or Scaley Classic track? I've had some smaller guides not "flip" the lane change back on converted cars.

I have heard that overhead lights shining directly on the lane change sensor can cause the problems you describe. Perhaps try the track without any lights shining on the track to see if it solves the problem.

Best regards,
